Changed My LifeAfter taking the GRE once I wanted to try a book that used a different approach. This gre mock book really helped me get in the mode of 1)recognizing root patterns in words, 2)looking up words I wasn't familiar with, 3)understanding the reading comprehension questions better. Memorized hundreds of vocabulary words, took endless online for class practice tests, and sat through banal classes -- and still was not able to meet my goal. Great ReviewGRE for dummies is a Nice breakdown of what the GRE is, how it's given, how it's scored and a great review of gre study guide test questions with tips on how to answer when you don't know the answer. GRE guide was a good intro for the GRE. I got really sick of the stupid humor about half way through, it got real old. received this in the mail promptly with excellent condition. No Other BookIf you are going to take the GRE, buy GRE classses for dummies and no other. The author fills you in on all the tricks you need to know to score well on the GRE, and does not waste your time with lists of 30,000 vocabulary words. Spend your time learning the structure of the gre class test and how to avoid the traps, then learn the basic information by GRE online classes . The chapters on algebra and geometry are much more useful than Barron's or any other books I looked at, and her strategy for vocabulary makes much better use of your time. Mike
