Helpful StrategiesWhile the strategies were helpful, I believe the GRE test pattern by Examsheets would have been more useful if it had included more practice exams. I'd recommend buying Examsheets as a supplement to your gre tests online studying, not as the only resource. Using this book did help improve scores, but I think the general gre test should have contained most realistic questions and they should have done a better job of proofreading/editing for content. Passed On First TryIf you are going to take the GRE, then you want to do well. If you are going to do well on the GRE, then you probably need to study. If you are going to study, then you want to make sure that you invest in the right book.Having just taken the GRE example test, I can say that while it was helpful to go through this gre paper test book to figure out the structure and sections in the test, it's the right level of difficulty. The gre test help of this books took from real past GREs therefore they felt much closer than the real thing. Jennifer

Buy Examsheets gre test patternThose who don't study for the GRE, those who take a general gre test costing several hundred dollars, and those of us buying a book or two, just buy the Examsheets syllabus, it is what you need. I echo many peoples' sentiments in that I feel Examsheets GRE exam syllabus are useful. Personally, I like how this book is written better than others. I also like the gre test online strategies a little more.It cuts to the chase, tells you what you need to know, and shows you how to figure out those Algebra problems better than your high school freshman year.
